Custom Book Circle Q&A
How are books chosen?
Books are chosen in multiple ways:
How long does a book cycle last?
Each book cycle is typically about 3 months (2 weeks gaps between 6 sessions)
How many people can participate?
Each circle consists of 8-16 people. I prefer to have an intimate group to allow for stronger connections and deeper learning.
Any given company can have more than one cohort per book, or more than one circle on differing topics depending on needs and interests.
What is the financial investment?
Book circles start at 3600€/book cycle, with an addition of 800€ for any new-to-me books.
If a second cohort/group is requested for the SAME BOOK those groups are billed at 2800€. This does not apply for a different book.
This price does not including books. I do not include books to honor that people like to "read" in different ways (paper, electronic, audio), and also due to logistics of delivery world-wide.
I request a 50% deposit up front to secure the dates for all of our sessions, and the second 50% to be paid 30 days after our 2nd session together. My work is guaranteed, so if you are ever unsatisfied and an agreement cannot be reached to improve my service, you will be refunded in full.
Cancellations or postponements of sessions within 7 days results in a penalty fee of 300€ to honor my time.
What does this include?
What do the integrations sessions look like?
Each integration session is created in a workshop style, where the main goal is to dive deeper into the ideas through self-reflection, sharing, debating, role-playing, synthesis/analysis of case studies, etc. Every session also ends with action steps on the individual and/or organizational level. (Sample 1 Agenda, Sample 2 Agenda)
Here is a sample notes document as well.
What if we want more?
If you are looking for more support beyond the basic integrations sessions and group chat, I can also include any of the following:
What if people don't want to read?
That is one of the risks. If after our launch and first integration session, you find that your employees are not engaged, or not prioritizing this endeavor, then we discontinue our relationship.

- In collaboration with me based on challenges, needs, interests, etc of the company or team
- Directly from the company's lead on this initiative (CEO, HR manager, L&D professional, etc.)

If you are looking for more support beyond the basic integrations sessions and group chat, I can also include any of the following:
- Additional Integration Workshops to dive deeper into a particular book, or go even slower if requested. Some groups like to have 6 sessions every 2 weeks, rather than 4 sessions every month. It all depends on the level of commitment.
- 1:1 coaching to provide additional support for any team members who could benefit
- Virtual Office Hours to give all of your employees an opportunity to ask questions and get support or coaching without the commitment of 1:1 coaching
- Weekly Lunch & Learns to offer brief opportunities (20-30 minutes) to keep the momentum going and share around a specific idea or question
- Accountability Check-In 4-6 months after the last integration session, to reflect on what has worked, what hasn't, what has gotten in the way, and if a pivot is necessary. This is typically for one-off book cycles rather than continuous work.
