WHAT I'M READING WEDNESDAY : Bus 57 by Dashka Slater

It was raining cats and dogs (or cords as they say in French) on Saturday, and I was sitting down doing a puzzle with my kids.

Then their friends arrived, and I was abandoned.

I turned to my Libby app to look for some audio company while I finished the puzzle.

That is when I came upon Bus 57 in the "Frequently Banned Books" section.

Both a heartbreaking and hopeful true story of two teens whose lives come together on bus 57, and will never be the same again.

Some of the major themes include:
