Welcome!
Let's create some deep learning
and strong connections.
Mindset matters.
In life, and definitely in business.
Mindset is part of the common vernacular these days, but it wasn't always.
It was Carol Dweck's research at Stanford that helped bring the importance of mindset to the forefront. During these two drop in sessions, we will explore Carol's idea of a fixed and growth mindset, and how those two distinct ways of looking at the world influence our behavior, both consciously and unconsciously.
Our mindset influences our behavior, thoughts, and feelings, which in turn influences our potential and success (however you define it.)
Whether you want to grow your business, or merely grow your influence, come join myself and the team at Spin Ideas, to explore some of the ideas within the book in community with other readers and learners from around the world.
No reading is required, though it might enhance the conversation.
Using quotes, questions, improv games, and mindfulness practices, we will step back from our day-to-day work and look at our mindsets and our behaviors through the lens of Carol Dweck's ideas.
It's about connecting with ourselves and others, and then using the inspiration and knowledge to create new ways of leading and living.
In order to get the most out of the session, I invite you to:

In order to get the most out of the session, I invite you to:
- Come with an intention to participate.
- Let those around you know not interrupt you, but bring your lunch if you want.
- Have pen and paper at the ready to write down any new learnings. (This is also recommended as this session will not be recorded.)
