We all have emotions all the time, and the belief that they don't belong in the workplace sets us up to fail. Perhaps they aren't talked about, but they are there, lying under the surface of all our interactions at work.
In Liz Fosslien and Molly West Duffy's book "No Hard Feelings," they explore exactly how our emotions influence 7 major aspects of work - health, motivation, decision-making, teams, communication, culture, and leadership.
Inspired by the insights and ideas from the book, we have designed a 90-minute interactive, experiential workshop focused on a couple of the major components from the book:
We may bring in some elements of improvisational theater and/or role-play, so please come with an open spirit, and the courage to be uncomfortable.

- articulating our emotions at work or about work, without becoming emotional (and when the emotional norms don't match our emotional self)
- the emotions that arise when we disagree with colleagues and decisions, and how to work through them
