It's hard to explain what I do in English. It's even harder in French. Yes, the word "facilitatrice" exists in French, but not very many people use it. And no one knows what it means. Last week, while I was waiting for my Zumba class to start, someone asked me what I do. At first, I said, "Formatrice" which is the word for "Trainer" in French. It's my typical response when people ask in passing. Then they kept asking me questions, and I had to back track and say that I was more of a facilitator than a trainer. Which led to even MORE questions. Here's what interesting: 🩷 What I do is not training, but it involves learning. For anyone who doesn't know anything about what facilitation is or does, this week is FACILITATION WEEK. It's a great time for you to learn from myself and my colleagues about what facilitation is, and is NOT, and how our genius can support your organizations.
