I don't like being called a trainer, much less an expert. Yes, I read a lot of books, but that doesn't make me an expert on the content within. And I wouldn't DARE come into your organization and tell you how to do your job better than you are already doing it, especially having never worked that job myself. Yet, companies still refer to my work as trainings, and still call me an SME. I cringe, every time. Instead, I like to think of my work along the lines of Liz Wiseman's book Multipliers. I am NOT the genius, instead, I am the genius maker. My role, as facilitator and book circle host, is not to teach you anything or be the genius, but to unearth the genius within YOU - the participant. Of course, I do slip up sometimes. I do step into the role of "accidental diminisher." Many of us do unintentionally -- that's why it's accidental. If you would like to explore Multipliers and this concept of being a GENIUS MAKER, alongside other leaders, coaches, and facilitators, please consider joining Fiona Cameron (She/Her) and I, on March 25th for a 90-minute book-based masterclass. We would love to unleash your genius in unleashing others genius. https://lnkd.in/eRiVxb-g Originally posted on LinkedIn with comments. Read Deeper Not Faster
